It has a wire handle and measures 9 1/4 inches in height. In PRE PROHIBITION1905 JOHN L CASPER was listed as PRESIDENT of the COMPANY. The company actually got its start in WINSTON SALEM NORTH CAROLINA in the late 19th century making and distilling the same type whiskey as they would later bring to ROANOKE. It has a thumb sized chip on the base and is a little bit rough at the top. The wire handle may or may not be original to the jug. The few that I have seen had a handle similar to this one.
