Hallowe\'en costume for 13\" Effner\'s Little Darling/Studio Dolls.
Cotton blend fabric is a previous year\'s design from JoAnn\'s Fabrics. Traditional Hallowe\'en images are scattered across the fabric and sprinkled with silver glitter. Almost full circle skirt is trimmed with purple rickrack which also trims the sleeve edges. The bodice is lined and closes in the back with snaps. Underskirt and collar are made from sheer spider web fabric. Underskirt has an elastic waist. I purchased the hat, decorated it with spiders and hand colored the buckle. Orange knit tights match the spider-trimmed sash of grosgrain ribbon.
For an entirely different looking costume, place the underskirt over the dress!
The dress and the pattern for it are entirely my own design.
Please note that the purple is darker than may appear on your monitor, and the sash is orange but may appear more like dark pink.
