*Up for sale here is a nice looking quarter pint pyro milk bottle from San Francisco, California, which is quite early for a pyro example dating from 1938. This dairy served in and around the San Francisco area back in the day. This little bottle contained cream, and is in very good condition and near perfect. It does have a few tiny pin pricks on a few of the deep red pyro letters, that is not too bad as seen here. There is a small flat chip on the lower heel favoring the base that is non detracting. Overall this bottle displays nicely, and the glass is sparkling clean. It reads on the front showing a small cow in the dairy pasture, with a snow capped mountain in the back round \"MARIN-DELL / Sold Only At Independent Stores / Reg. Cal.\" On the reverse it plainly reads \"MARIN-DELL / Milk... Builds / Strong Bones / and Sound Teeth\". The base is embossed with the faint Los Angeles, California Owens Illinois Glass Plant symbol, and the date code of \"23 <0> 8\" with a larger \"M\" below this. It has the embossed vertical gripper lines on the neck as well. This western milk bottle has a generic cap that holds in the white pillow form to further highlight the graphics. It measures just 4 1/4\" tall and 2\" across the round base, and displays quite handsomely as seen here. I will be listing some other milks here as well. The other half pint West Virginia pyro milk bottle shown in the last two gallery pictures to the right, will not be included here with this listing.
