ITEM: *MASSIVE* Vintage MEXICO TAXCO Sterling Silver & Obsidian Cabochon Gemstone DESIGNER SIGNED MODERNIST RING

APPROXIMATE AGE: Mid 20th Century

APPROXIMATE SIZE: The ring is an approximate finger size 8. The ring measures approximately 1 5/8\" X 1\" across the top of the ring. The *MASSIVE* genuine obsidian oval cabochon gemstone measures approximately 35mm X 25mm.

VINTAGE CONDITION: Very Good to Excellent overall vintage condition with some minor surface wear noted that is consistent with age and gentle use. There is no evidence of damage, repair or restoration. The obsidian cabochon gemstone does not show any damage, chips or scratches.

WEIGHT: 16.65 grams

MARKS: The ring is signed \"eM\" or \"JM\"(?)(see close-up photographs). The ring is also stamped \"TAXCO 925 MEXICO\".

SPECIAL NOTES: An extraordinary modernist design with a complex free form open-work asymmetric setting holding the over-sized obsidian oval cabochon gemstone. A very large piece and a true statement ring indeed. Looks amazing on! Far, far nicer than shown!!!
