Handmade Max Gilmore Pinehurst NC Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer 1983 with standI have left this dulcimer just as I received it. This item is estate fresh. Never been offered for sale before this week by original owner.The dulcimer has some dings from use and display. A friend played it and said it sounded very nice. One of the original strings broke. I have left the broken string in it. All the dust from it sitting on the handmade stand for decades still there. I don\'t know what a person exactly wants when buying instruments so we work very hard to leave them as is.Max Gilmore The Piddilin Pastor of Pinehurst NC hand built this dulcimer and labeled it 5/5/83 and gave it number B28 on the label inside the left lower sound hole.The dulcimer dimensions are

7 inches wideThe stand is felt lined and dimensions are
24 inches tall
21 inches long
8.5 inches wide
The stand is also hand made by Mr Gilmore. The Piddlin Parson died in 2001.This is a very rare piece. In good condition. See all pictures. Ask any questions.
