SYNDROME -THE INCREDIBLES
This one-time wannabe sidekick to Mr Incredible has now become his greatest enemy! Play as Syndrome and plot to take over the city, committing devious deeds and setting deadly traps that put The Incredibles in danger\'s way. Sometimes it\'s good to be bad!

There are two main modes in this game, Play Set and Toy Box. Each play set is essentially a self-contained world with its own gameplay, based on a specific movie or series with recognizable characters and storylines. Characters from one world cannot enter into another world, but players can put any character together in Toy Box mode. Toy Box is a sandbox mode that players can fully customize and explore.

Toy Box Mode

Toy Box mode allows players to create their own game in an open-world arena. Players can mix and match everything that is unlocked within each of the playsets including characters, weapons and gadgets. By unlocking new content in the Disney Infinity playsets, players are able to build their own worlds and essentially create their own game.

Play Set Mode

There are a number of play sets available which are accessed via placing the relevant play set piece onto the Infinity Base. Each play set is specific to a Disney/Pixar theme and only characters from that theme are able to play in that playset, so Mr. Incredible can not play along with Woody in the Toy Story playset.

Infinity Base and figurines

The Starter Pack edition of the game is bundled with three figurines and an Infinity Base. The Infinity Base has two round spots to place figurines, and a hexagonal spot to place world discs. When the figurines are placed on the Infinity Base, the characters are imported into the game, while world discs unlock Play Sets.

Power discs

Power Discs are discs that can be placed on the Infinity Base along with their characters to add new elements to the game. Characters can be powered up via the use of up to 4 different Power Discs at a time. These discs can alter the terrian, add special vechiles to the game or alter a character\'s statistics. One Power Disc is included with the Starter Pack whilst additional discs will be sold in blind bags each containing two discs. Overall there will be 20 power discs available from the launch of Disney Infinity in August 2013, however there are plans for 3 series of Power Discs in total.
