This is a \" RARE \" Hard to FIND ( MISS PRINT), 1 qt Antique Bright Blue \" PORCELAIN LINED \" Mason Jar with a Mint NOS Porcelain Lined Zinc Lid. This jar for it\'s age is in extremely beautiful shape with NO CHIPS or CRACKS in the body of the jar. The rim has the VERY COMMON ground lip very common with this named jar and with most old mason jars. The lip is ground and does have small chipping and flaking which is not bad and does not effect the look or structure or value at all. This is an extremely beautiful jar with being very heavy seeded. There is hundreds of tiny air bubbles. The jar also has a textured look to the glass which you can feel giving this jar an extremely beautiful look. This jar is VERY Heavily Embossed on the front of the jar and the bottom which is very easy to see and read. On the front is Porcelain Lined and on the bottom is.( 2 ) Patent Dates. The first is Pat. in the center Feb. 4th, 13 ( 13 is an ERROR, MISS PRINT ) it should be a ( 73 ) for 1873 not 13 for 1813. That also make this jar very valuable. On the outside is Pat. Nov 26,97 for 9 1867 ) and also this jar is numbered 167 in the center. This jar also has a NOS MINT Porcelain Lined Zinc Lid. The correct lid. This really is a beautiful jar that for it\'s age is in VERY great Shape and would be perfect to add to your fine collection.
