It has a very good hand woven protector. The weight of the watch is 97 grams a nice weight for a pocket watch. size of the case is 51 m.m please note repousse cases were never hallmarked.All thehinges and clips work well on the cases.THE SIZE OF THE CASE WITH THE WATCH IS 43 M.M. hallmarked for London 1790. small repair to side as shown.DIAL.The dial is in very nice condition slight fading on the bottom arcade.Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic divisionsfor the minutes.HANDS.veryfine original beetle and poker hands gold hands.GLASS.The glass is very high domed clean and clear.MOVEMENT. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop and is currently runningwell and it runsto the full length of the chain. with a very ornatelyengraved and pierced broad balance, a Silver Tompion regulator.
