Superb antique Staffordshire sheep & lamb spill vase Chip decoration Early 19c:

Description:Superb antique Staffordshire sheep and recumbent lamb spill vase, with chip/shredded clay decoration on the sheep, on the ends of the tree branches and a tuft of grass on either side of the lamb. Firing hole is not on the bottom of the base but on the underbelly of the sheep (see pix). In great antique condition; some wear to the gilding, no chips or breaks. Measures 5 1/2\" high x 4\" wide. Early 19th century.
