\"Working together, no matter how harsh the circumstances, the pack practices the timeless rituals of life and death. From deep within the being of each wolf, nature\'s ancient voice whispers \'the pack must survive\'.\" - Mark Hopkins. This sculpture was the 1995 Annual Edition of the Wilderness Visions Collection and was released in April of that year. It was retired in 1996. It is number 51 of the 608-piece edition. It measures 12”x17”.Since it is no longer in production, it is only available on the secondary market, where it is rarely found, and since its retirement has been in consistent and high demand. This was the third in a collection of time limited editions. Each of the three pieces were limited to one year of production. No stock was built up and nothing was produced after March 31, 1996 except to complete orders taken through that time. \"Survival\" followed two of Mark Hopkins\' most successful wolf works, \"Phantoms of the Forest\" and \"Mother\'s Nature\" (which I also currently have listed here on ). This piece quickly became the most popular of the three. Mr. Hopkins was so pleased with the results of this piece, he decided to use it as a working model for a much larger edition he released later. Ialways like the little extras, and I thought you might too, so in addition tothe Certificate of Authenticity and Registration Card, I will be including aPresentation Page that can either be shown on display with your piece, orincluded with the other documentation and paperwork that will accompany yournew sculpture.
