This original, vintage, antique and historic, and exceedingly rare, Spanish American War\"Through the War
by Camera,\"published in 1892 by Pearsons\'s War Pictures contains 292 pages and photos of U.S., Spanish and Cuban
soldiers, weapons and locations. It is a wealth of Spanish American War imagery detailing this historic war. What is really
most surprising are the number of Cuban (rebel) and Spanish soldiers\'s photos (see e.g. Images #3 & #7). Also the close-up
images of vintage, period weaponry provideshigh research and collector value (e.g. see Images #2, #4, #9 & #10).
This very large 10\" x 13\" 292 page volume subtitled \"An Artfolio of Current Events, on Land and Sea, in the Spanish American
War of 1898\" should NOT be confused with an associated publication \"A Weekly Portfolio etc.\" which can more easily be found.
Unfortunately both the back and front covers are torn from the binding and considerably stained. (See images #1 & #12).
Nonetheless, the photographic images on each page remain bound(except for one) with little or no page staining or soiling.
