VERY FINE EARLY ANTIQUE NATIVE AMERICAN APACHE BASKET :

Very finely woven, antique Apache basket. 3 3/4\"high x 6\" across, and has approximately 15 stitches/inch and 8 coils/inch.This basket has a beautiful rich patina, smooth to the touch and is reallyexquisite. It has 4 missing stitches to the rim, which are hardly visible with 1 or 2 on the back. It has great graphics, witha center double star, radiating out to a checked border that runs around thecenter of the piece, along with interesting points just below the rim. Dates toaround 1880 and comes from a smoke free Environment. A wonderful piece for theadvanced collector.
