These represent theveryearliesttourist brochures in thebeginning of Vancouver...

It took 20 years to amass these brochures. The first three I have never seen offered on in 20 years. Published by Vancouver Tourist Association.

The 1903 brochure \"Vancouver the Mecca of the Tourist\" is 22 pages, plus the additional last page is a 23\", 6 section pullout of Vancouver Harbor. On page 2 it states that \"no one born in Vancouver has yet married.\" That is verbiage that shows this brochure was made in the infancy of Vancouver. It is 4 1/4 X 6 3/4\" when closed. It is seen in pics 2-4. It has a 1\" tear on the back page. The cover and next page are visibly dog eared, with small tears and a black spot. No pages are falling out, nor loose. Condition average for its age.

The 1905 brochure \"Vancouver\".Is a 4 panel pullout, measuring 12 3/4 X 6 1/4\" opened. 3 X 6 1/4 closed. It is seen in pics 5-7. Excellent condition.

The 1922 brochure titled \"Vancouver, Canada\'s Pacific Gateway\" is 11 double pages- each page measures a huge 9 1/4 X 10 1/4\". It actually comes with its 95 year old original, unusedmailing envelope. You\'ll never find this combination together, at nearly 100 years old. The envelope is tattered, and a small corner is torn away. see pics 8-9. The brochure is in very good condition.

The 1927 brochure is titled \"1927 Tourist Guide.\" It is 48 pages, and measures9 X 8 1/4\" when opened. 4 1/2 X 8 1/4\" when closed. see pics 10-12.Very good condition.
