This listing is for an extremely heavy cast iron, ceramic outdoor light fixture. This item is old and the bolts and strapping that hold this item together are old and rusty. This item is not safe to be installed or hung without having restoration done to the light by a qualified electrician. This item will have to be hung from an extremely substantial light pole. This item weighs give or take about 40 pounds. It will be packed and shipped by UPS Ground and it will be insured. This item is not wired and the measurements 12 1/2\" tall by 12 1/2\" wide at the widest part of the base of the lamp. The metal top has a threaded stem of 1 1/2\". There are measured pictures also in the listing. The painting on the cast metal has dripped onto the ceramic but I do think this can be easily removed. I would like this light to go to someone who will restore it and appreciate it for the history. There is a hairline crack in the ceramic but it is solid. Much of the green paint is missing. The hinges are still attached to the ceramic base but there is no glass cover included in this sale. There is crazing in the white portion of the ceramic on this lamp, please see pictures. This lamp is old,the wiring is missing and will need to be replaced. I am selling thislamp “as is” with no guarantees. I stronglyrecommend that youhave the wiring replaced by aqualified electricianbefore using this lamp. This lamp is not safe to hang as it is sold.
