This is a smooth heavy lidded slate rock ashtray. I have had this for 15 years at least and it has been packed away. It was used when I got it . It does not appear to have been used for snuffing out cigs. It has a small amout of candle wax in the bottom, like a few drips. Needs a good cleaning.
It is 4 1/4 inch square and with the lid on is 1 inch thick.
No cracks or chips or breaks. In nice condition.
