Up for sale is a beautiful hand-painted, gold-trimmed, fluted porcelain decorative pitcher /ewer from Enesco Japan in excellent vintage condition.
Pitcher measures approximately 6\" tall; 3\" wide at the widest part of the bottom and 4\" wide at the top including the handle.Pitcher is crafted of white porcelain and is decorated with hand-painted yellow, red and pink roses and green leaves on a russet ground. Back side of ewer is mostly plain white with a couple of areas with light russet shading.
Pitcher has a graceful/traditional \"bulb\" shape which has been gently fluted. Underside of top rim has a nice bas relief detail top of rim is decorated in 22K gold. The pitcher\'s elegant handle is also accented in 22K gold. (See pix.)
Ewer is back-stamped in red with pattern number E2350. Pitcher is in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Gold trim is in excellent condition -- just one small, nearly imperceptible rub on the top of the handle.
All in all, a handsome piece that displays beautifully and would also make a treasured and most appreciated gift.
