This is an antique china teapot bearing the underglaze sceptre mark to the base for KPM of Berlin, Germany. This is a beautiful teapot with rich gold detail to the handle and spout with handpainted flowers and a butterfly to the lid and teapot. The teapot is approx 6.25\" tall from the base to the top of the finial on the lid and 9.75\" wide from the end of the spout to the end of the handle. Both the teapot and lid are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a tiny area of gilding missing from the rim to the teapot but only very minor considering the age of this piece.
