Little Dog, as was his father, was a noted Piegan Warrior. During the 1880 period, his band served to police portions of the Reservation, and in 1882, massacred a band of Crees in Dead Indian Coulee on the south side of the Marias River. A few days later, Cree Scalps \"not yet dry\" were being bartered for whiskey in the saloons at Fort Benton. The Crees encroached on the Blackfeet Reservation to steal horses.

Forsyth, N.A., active in Butte c. 1890-1910, known for his friendship with Cowboy painter C. M. Russell, Forsyth issued a broad range of fine stereoviews and postcards depicting Buffalo, Blackfeet Indians, Mining, and Montana towns. (Biographies of Western Photographers, Mautz)
