The etching is framed in a black frame and matted with red, black and ivory.

There are a few very small scratches in the frame.

Etching in color on wove paper. Signed in pencil, lower center and numbered. From the first version numbered proofs of 2500 (500 second version numbered proofs, and 2500 special numbered proof impressions also exist)- a unique variation. Three versions exist of this work. Each is a slight variation in order to highlight the animation process.The original hand painting etching was created with a steel engraving needle, scratched by the artist into a varnish covered zinc or copper plate. In an acid bath, the etch is created to the desired depth. Following completion of the etch process, the plate is cleaned and hand colored. The printing is then done with a hand driven printing press on wet handmade paper. After drying, the etchings are lovingly colored and water colored.
