The United Allied Nations Invasion Victory Map of Europe, Mediterreanean, Near East and North Africa
The map is approximately 37\" X 34\" with a scale of about 1 inch to a 100 miles. The map shows \"the furtherest advance of Axis in Russia indicated by heavy red line\" This is a very scarce map. One title indicates the \"boundaries as of Sept. 1939\" I did find one source that referred to this map and suggested it may have been printed in 1944. The reason there is no date or publisher on it is, according to the historian, for security reasons. The graphics are still stunning. The heavy fold lines show it was well used during the period but was also well cared for. There are no stains or other damage as is so often the case with maps like this. It is rolled now and that is how I will ship it - gently rolled in a cardboard tube. The original folds divided it into 16 panels -each crease is about 9\" long. For the serious collector this is a great find. If it ships for less to your location I will refund the difference the same day I mail it.Ships by TRACKED parcel to Canada and USA only.
