These wonderfulOld pieces have Great, Vintage looks, with Beautiful Handwriting, on Regiment letterhead, were sent home by soldier G.G. Hardy from Louisiana, measure approx. 5\" x 8\",are Original, Vintage examples, from the Victorian era,and Rare to Find.
GAR: The Grand Army of The Republic was a fraternal organization for Union Civil War veterans, and these come from the archives of Ericsson Post No. 109 of East Templeton, MA.I will be listing several items from their archives today.
