About our little rugs, they are replicas of real full sized rugs such as can be purchased for a real home at department stores or replicas of rugs from the past such as the Victorian rugs or ancient Chinese rugs, etc. Any rug you want can be made as a miniature replica with the look and feel of a real rug.
They are printed on cloth. We make our little rugs as decor items to give your tiny dollhouses, room boxes, shadow boxes, miniature scenes the right look and feel that a real scene would have. We are aiming for charm, color, variety, new ideas, giving you a source for these tiny decor items that you haven\'t had. We hope you like our little replica rugs, we try to make them fun and affordable.

A bit about about Me and My Cookie Jar
I began as an aspiring artist / hopes of being an anthropologist.... but life happens, so much for aspiring dreams.
I began as a mother / housewife who dabbled in art.
My first job, when the kids got old enough, was at a small department store. I did great, loved it! I got to do the ordering and store displays. The store rose to #2 in the chain, corporate stepped in, store gone.
Then I got an idea for little garden scenes with live plants, tiny silk flowers and little critters, butterflies and birds made of feathers, they were charming even though I do say so myself. My clever sister Molly was my partner and made containers for me. We did great, loved it! I called it \"Potter\'s Field\"
Then the State finally offered me the job I had long ago applied for with the Employment Office. My husband wouldn\'t let me refuse. Potter\'s Field died. But, I did great, I loved it! Turns out I had a knack for putting folks to work. Then I retired.
We traveled the western states, then for 5 years, in our RV. I loved it!
Home again, I started \"Dusty Acres Mini Trading Post\" I painted miniature Southwest pottery for dollhouses . We sold the heck out of them on . I loved it and my partners were my husband, my kids and my sister Molly and her husband. We sold pots,rugs, baskets, tiny clay kachinas, etc.
Now, my sister is gone, my kids are scattered, and my husband died. One day I will paint again.
And so for now, for extra cash to help the grand kids and their babies, I started My Cookie Jar and using the techniques that my sister Molly pioneered, I make and sell these little rugs, and I love it.
