For sale is a single OldChurch Slavonic handwritten manuscript sheet or leaf, with a uniqueornate design, consisting of 27 ovals in three colors, and just belowthe design is a heading, which a University of Utah math professor and anordained Russian Orthodox minister has translated as \"Pasach,\" or\"Easter\" (see the first three scanned images).

This single handwritten leaf(with two pages of text) comes from an Old Church Slavonic handwrittenmanuscript book, dated to the early18th century, on heavy laidpaper. Size of each sheet is about 7 in. x 10 in. Very beautifulcalligraphic writing in the Cyrillic alphabet of the Old Church Slavoniclanguage in black ink with much red rubrication.This manuscriptleaf is arevery beautiful. This leaf has eight (8) largehandwritten initials: 7 in red ink and 1 in black ink; it also forty-three(43)red handwritten words(which you can see the scannedimages). Also, on this one manuscript leaf, there are many instancesof the NOMINA SACRA or \"Sacred Names.\" There are three (3)instances of \"Christ,\" with one of them saying \"the SaviorChrist\"; also, three (3) instances of \"God\"; \"The ApostleJohn\"; \"The Lord\"; \"Apostle\"; and the word\"Dogma.\" Very beautiful leaf. Thisleaf has stains and discoloration on thesheet, due to its age andliturgical use over the centuries.
