For sale is a beautiful oriental doll made by schoenau & hoffmeister. This doll has a crude composition body with a bisque head and a pulled wig. She has an open mouth along with slanted glass eyes. She is 10\" tall and is an antique piece circa 1900 - 1910. This doll has the schoenau & hoffmeister mark on the back of her neck. It\'s a star with \"9\" \"00\" above the star, \"S\" to the left of the star, \"PB\" in the middle of the star and \"H\" on the right.
The condition of this doll is exquisite, there is nothing wrong as far as fractures or discolorations go. She has absolutely never been played with which is a given taking into account her condition. The detail as well is stellar. Nothing was spared when creating this doll in all aspects from her shoes all the way up to her hat. This truly is a wonderful oriental doll, German made.
Two things to note is that her right hand has a tiny spot that shows wear, very minimal. Also she has a small black stain on her blouse, which can be seen in the picture.
