These ditches have 1/4 inch traps for the Gold to collect in as we use the New for 2013 Deep Ribbed Beach Box Matting. Thenthe material hits to water directional fins that forces the material toward the middle...the material then goes up over a specially places water ramp, and then drops into Perforated raised aluminum , then goes into 1/4 Perforated aluminum punchplate. It then hits 5 Super V Ripples that that stops the Gold in it\'s tracks. Then any Fine Gold will catch in the specialized rubber matting that lays over top the Miners Carpet...leaving all the fine Gold in the Blue Miners Carpet when you are finished. Notice this is the New for 2013Extra BigRail Track system so you can shovel into the Box, and simply slide it back and forth to dislodge all Gold that is being hit by water flow from the flare - it classifies down to 1/2 inch for you - New for 2013.
