This is a set of 10 breathtakingly beautiful gold-encrusted footed cream soup cups and matching saucers, made in England by Minton for the ultra-swank Davis Collamore & Co, 5th Avenue, NYC. Davis Collamore & Co. was, in it\'s day, an equal of Tiffany. This is the extremely rare pattern K-59. The inscribed cypher mark dates this set to 1923.

The lovely Neo-Classical motif incorporates a wide Ivory band, set off by thinner acid-etched gold bands, gold laurel swags & turquoise enameled shield-like forms, wreathed with more gold laurels. In addition, the cup handles are fully encrusted with gold. Photos could never capture the delicate beauty and elegance of these cream soups! The colors are amazing! And when you hold them in your hands, you can feel how special they are. This is a seriously stunning set!

Full disclosure--you will actually receive 12 cups and 12 saucers, but 1 cup is stained & has a small crack. A second cup also has a small crack. 1 saucer has the Minton mark, but lacks the Collamore mark. It was apparently a replacement. Because of these condition issues, I am presenting it as set of 10, but you will receive all 12.
