DESCRIPTION:

I am pleased to offer you this lovelyantique German Armand Marseilledoll, may need a little \"TLC\". I do not know her past history but will describe the best I can. This doll is incised on the back of her head \"1894, AM 3/0, DEP\".Reference attributes to Armand Marseille, 1910+ Germany. DEP is a registered claim or trade mark used by both the French and Germans.Doll is a antique bisque socket head on jointed painted bisquebody. Doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders and legs being strung just fine. Body shows overall wear, built in dirt throughout, I have not attempted to clean her in any way. She has painted molded black shoes.She has a \"sweet\"face withfixed openpupiless brown glass eyes, painted lashes around the eyes,painted brows, she has open mouth withworn upper teeth.Wears long auburn color wig, a bit out of control, secure on a pate on her head. Since her eyes are stationary open all the time I did not remove her pate from the head, I lifted the back to flash around for cracks, I do not see any damage. Wears a lovely purple silk dress with lace trim, it has snaps buttons down the back. She wears vintage slip and pantaloons, clothing is lovely, possibly made especially for this doll. This is a lovely \"old\"looking for a good home!I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve aspart of this description.
