Description
This listing is for 12 vintage flowing gold embossed script "Easter Greetings". The paper is heavily embossed, and made to look like metal. They date to around 1910. They are small, measuring 1 3/4" long, and 1/2" tall. They have darkened to a beautiful patina, and have browned on the back. The antique pieces like this one are easy to tell from the new ones - the gold isn\'t as bright, and the back will be tanned, and not bright white. The antique paper has a fragility that the new paper doesn\'t. These greetings would be so much fun to add to all kinds of crafts - cards, scrap booking and much more. I have lots of antique scrap, so take a look! (It was called scrap because the Victorians used the pieces in scrap books.)
