This 1950\'S era 13 inch high chalkware iconographicstatue is in very good condition. It hasno chips or cracks, but does display some paint loss on the nose, hand and acouple small spots on the hair.

It is adorned with heavy satin and metallicdamask. The smocking and tolle detailingon the bodice is quite nice. There are afew minor spots on the back of the cape, it does unsnap from the statue\'s robe. I did not attempt to clean these, but they dolook as though these soiled areas could be spot cleaned

The detailing on the handpainted eyes andlips are very well rendered and it has a beautiful face. Overall, it has agedbeautifully and would make a fine addition to any collection.
