\"NEEDS NEW CASE SPRINGS,OLD ONES REMOVED\" Very nice Rare 14k US Assay Multi Color pocket watch case. The case is a size 6 and measures about 1 5/8 inches across not including the stem or bow and weighs a little over 18.5 grams on my scale. You just need to add the very inexpensive case springs, a crystal and a nice movement and this will be a thousand dollar watch. There is very little non gold on this case as it sits right now. This is from a old watch maker\'s estate and is missing the inner case springs that go around the inner edge of the case. I guess he was going to be replaced them but he didn\'t finish it. The case is pretty nice with no major scratches or dents \"but has a few small dings\" to the outside. The dust cover has a few dents on it. The inside of the covers have impressions on them from the outside details/engravings. A very pretty case that is well worth fixing up. The hinges are strong and the bezel is present. The front lid go\'s past 90 degrees slightly but the back does not. LOOK at the photos carefully as they are part of the description. USA buyers only and payment due within 3 days of sale end.
