The first photo (of the windows from which these tiles have been taken) was taken outside w/flash. Individual tile photos show best color comparison. Though in use for over 100 years old they are in beautiful condition. The first early American 3 Way factory was located in Philadelphia, Pa circa 1900. The windows these tiles were taken from have this factory\'s extremely RARE logo pictured in last photo (not for sale). The American 3 Way Tile Co was from the beginning in competition with Luxfer until finally buying them out in late 1920\'s combining the 2 to form American 3 Way Luxfer Co.These particular tiles are from windows which were removed over 25 years ago from an old store in downtown Augusta, Ga, a building built in the late 1800\'s.This tile was designed with horizontal statted \"prism\" back and waved front to reflect light back into the interior of the building, originally for stores or industrial use. Other shapes also but these are of the oldest original basic designed. They are heavy thick and durable, obviously to have endured well over 100 years. These are perfect to be used in architecture, backsplash,window design, decorating, display or just collecting turn of the century glass.All have nicely turned over the years so are a rich purple. Very sometimes but not always few have small nips or bruises. Excellent response on these. Hundreds of Wave, Dewdrop, Frank Lloyd Wright design, Flat and other more rare tiles have shipped with no complaints but plenty of return buyers.
