An absolutely stunning late victorian (1890) 15ct Chester gold ring. It is offered for sale as part of the estate of my gran. The main stone is possibly a hessonite garnet, I say possibly as I have done as much research as I can and that\'s the conclusion I have came too. The main stone is accentuated with 4 rubies and 6 small seed pearls and 2 larger ones. The detail in this ring as you can see is superb including the stone mounts and the engraving round the band. I have just had the main stone reset by a trusted local jeweler.The stamps inside read -
15 - 15ct
0.62 - size of main stone
CR - makers stamp
Chester hallmark.
