Original German Luther Bible, bound in original leather boards and spine. Spine cover and binding split into halves, but Bible remains complete and still presents decently- but make no mistake, it will need a new rebacking. Light browning and staining throughout with a few small chips, some damage/detachments of a few leaves in Daniel, where the book has split, last leaf with repairs, else fine. All pages present and bound, with some underlining and marginal notes here and there. Text in German; main title with vignette, two sectional title pages w/ woodcut borders and vignettes. Measures 8\" tall, 5.5\" wide, and 4\" thick. Good luck!
