This shows the convolutions of the north-east coast of America and Greenland, as they were understood at the time, with a number of place-names marked around the coast from various early abortive attempts to find a North-west passage, which here is suggested was to be found between Comberlants Isles, Bay de Baffins and New North-Wales. Nice dark impression, age toned. French text on verso. Image measures 5 3/4\"x 4\".
