An interesting signed copy of an affidavit made by Joshua Ripley of Windham that he witnessed at the house of a Thomas Dyar, a boy John Backey who agreed to serve John Flint as a servant until he reached the age of 16 in return for boarding and clothing.
Dated circa 1722, with signatures of Ripley, Thomas Dyar, and Ebenezer Gray.
