It was edited byWilliam Wagstaffe, and was popular up to the publication ofWilliam Cheselden\'sAnatomy.Drake had in it a theory ofacquired immunitytosmallpox, which was then taken up byClifton Drake(1667–1707) was an English physician and political writer, aJacobiteandFellow of the Royal is Good/Very Good.
