This listing is for really nice Chinese porcelain bowl from the Song Dynasty. It is very nice decorated with flowers and boys under a beautiful light blue qingbai glaze.

It is about 6 3/4 inches in diameter.

About 278 grams in weight.

It is in very good condition - no cracks, no repairs, some minor chips on the foot rim. Please see the pictures below.

Christies sold a similar example in 2007 for US$7200 in New York (the sale detailed are shown further below, under the pictures).

This item was previously owned by Dr. Joseph Nearing, who assembled the Dragon\'s Lair Collection of Chinese antiques. Dr. Nearing passed away in 2012. This item was purchased from his estate, and is now being offered on . With widely flared sides, the interior freely carved with two boys amidst highly stylized foliate scroll with feathery leaves and rouletted details, covered overall with a glaze of pale azure tone that continues over the tapered foot to partially cover the unglazed base burnt light brown in the firing
