c. 1700 LARGE ITALIAN OLD MASTER OIL ON CANVAS“ PUTTI BATHING \"An outstanding Italian or possibly French old master oil on canvas depicting Putti bathing in a stream. The work is of the very highest quality - each of the figures being highly detailed. We love the putti in the foreground diving off the rock and the putti to the left pulling flowers from a tree. To the lower left is the addition of a symbolic flower. We have no clue who painted this work - it has just been removed from a fine apartment.
