This is apretty, solid silver Georgianchamber stickmade inLondon in 1803 by maker J Evans.It looks fine at first glance but on closer inspection the centrehas hada crest has been removed and a small piece put in and a new crest put on, difficult to spot, the same with the snuffer but a patch is clearly visible where the new crest has been put in, its a shame because it is a nicechamberstickwith goodmatchinghallmarks on the pieces, its too good to scrap,.It hasa lovely border,it is14cms diameter and weighs a good270 grams.I am selling it as described, it still looks OK.
