Presented for sale is this Stunning Rare Georgian Solid Silver Table Berry Spoon, hallmarked for London 1803 by Peter Ann & William Bateman.This stunning rare Georgian solid silver table berry spoon has a superb gold gilt finished oval bowl which is beautifully decorated with raised embossed berries and foliage finished off with fluted edging, the stem and handle is wonderfully chased with foliates and scrolls front and reverse and is unpersonalised, stunning quality item/craftsmanship. This stunning rare Georgian solid silver table berry spoon has a superb gold gilt finished oval bowl which is beautifully decorated with raised embossed berries and foliage finished off with fluted edging, the stem and handle is wonderfully chased with foliates and scrolls front and reverse and is unpersonalised, stunning quality item/craftsmanship. It is hallmarked to the reverse in amongst the pattern with the makers mark PB over AB over WB for the prestigious maker Peter, Ann & William Bateman, the Lion Passant denoting solid sterling silver, the London assay office Crowned Leopards head, the Date letter H for 1803 and the Duty mark of King George III\'s head, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description.

Measuring 8 1/2\" long approx. it is in fabulous used condition with no dents, dings, splits or repairs and weighs 57grams or 1.83 troy ounces by my electronic scales.
