The manuscript contains fabulous calligraphic handwritten account of the debits, credits and cash activities from the two men between the years of 1808 and 1812 in London, England! The book culminates with the final settling of the accounts complete with handsome signatures from each gentlemen. 56 total pages with 33 containing detailed information in amazing period ink! A real piece of art within itself; composed of smooth red leather, the finest paper stock available at the time; complemented with gorgeous penmanship and calligraphic headers; A very displayable piece indeed!In Good overall condition in a handsome and eye catching full red leather binding. Soft covers; light wear and wrinkling but very well preserved considering age; smooth and soft leather; nice corners and edges. Fabulous bound hand laid antique paper from right around the end of the 18th/beginning of the 19th century. Gorgeous, thick paper with printed red lines. Binding is strong and tight however some pages look to have been pulled out at some point long ago resulting in some binding exposure in some areas as well as some light pull to the binding (see photos). All pages remain firmly secure albeit one or two that are partially loose.Measures 6 7/8\" x 4 7/8\" and 1/4\" thick. 56 total pages with 33 containing writing.Overall, just an amazing manuscript out of London, England dating over 200 years old!
