The 54th volume of this long-established work of reference.

First written in 1758 under the editorship of Edmund Burke, and produced continuously since that date, the Annual Register records and analyses the year’s major events, developments and trends throughout the world.

A fascinating year of the Review filled with much contemporary exposition on the Napoleonic and Peninsular wars alongside, of course, the War of 1812.

With bookplate to front pastedown of one \'John Frederick Pinney\'.

First edition.

CONDITION

In a full tree calf binding. Externally, rubbed with some heavierwear to spine and extremities. Front joint starting. Internally, generally firmly bound. Minor spotting throughout but otherwise clean. Bookplate has offset onto following two pages. Slight evidence of past worming to first half of volume.
