This vinaigrette comes fully hallmarked: Thomas Simpson Jr - Birmingham - 1827.
There is wear which can be seen in the pictures... a few dings,small scratches and a small crack to either side of the back hinge/lid, the lid is also loose fitting.
All of which can be expected from an item with this age but none the less, still a stunning item.
The cartouche to the centre is untouched, so would be suitable for engraving.It measures: 3cm x 2cm and weighs in total: 13g
