1840 William Henry Harrison Peoples Choice Log Cabin Presidential Campaign Medal:
$48.00

Here\'s a 15/16\" brass or bronze campaign medal or token from William Henry Harrison\'s 1840 presidential run. He won by beating Martin Van Buren and starting the curse which ran until 1988 when George H. W. Bush won that election. From 1840 to 1988, no sitting U.S. Vice-President ever won the presidency. Perhaps Al Gore in 2000 started it back up. Harrison, of course, was the shortest serving president, succumbing to pneumonia about a month after giving his long Inaugural Address - coatless - in inclement, Washington D.C. cold weather on March 4, 1841. This is in nicecondition (considering it\'s 178 years old. We\'ll let you clean it if you wish) so please enlarge our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with it. S & H on this will be $3.50 sent well-protected First Class. We are members of APIC and sell onlyauthentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence, and we\'ll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though says we won\'t. Just request a revised invoice from us before paying.
