I have here for sale a book entitled THE BOOK OF BUTTERFLIES AND MOTHS by Captain Thomas Brown. It was published in 1843 by George Routledge, London. It has 48 full page colour engravings and the book is divided up by different families of butterfly. It also includes information on instruments used in collecting, setting and preserving butterflies and moths.

Brown hardboards with gilt lettering to spine. In very good condition with all plates clean and bright. 222pp, 15.5 x 10 cm.
