1855 Braided Hair Large Cent Penny- Upright 5\'s -VF/Very Fine Details:

This is the upright 5\'s variety. Liberty\'s bust is broadly outlined, with all the letters of LIBERTY visible on the headband, several of the hairlines showing, and nearly all the beaded cords separated. Her eye, nose, mouth and ear are defined and all of the stars can be seen. Just about all of the lettering can be read on the reverse and the wreath still has nice detail and texture. The coin does not appear to have been cleaned and is not bent, however it is darker in color with porous/granular surfaces on both sides.
