1860 N over Z - Bronze Penny - RARE - Decent Grade and Highly Collectable :

Up for sale is this collectable grade and rare variety of the 1860 bronze penny where the N over Z repair is evident; (or N over N sideways in ONE). Still much sought after by collectors, the protruding serif and line across can clearly be seen below and across the base in the letter N. This particular example has a mottled appearance but still exhibits plenty of good detail - with perhaps the obverse being a better example of this - with slight surface metal flaws existing on the reverse the worst of which is below Britannia\'s breastplate.Other proof for this type can be seen with the \'doubling\' of the \'O\' within the lower part of this letter and the tell-tale die flaw that runs diagonally downwards to the left of the date and towards the rim.Have a good look and do ask any questions.
