Here\'s a crude early smooth base Pittsburgh Double Eagle 1/2 pint whiskey flask that was dug from an 1860s outhouse privy pit.....

PITTSBURGH PA emb in circle below eagle on front.....Plain circle on back below eagle....

Hand blown in mold, bimal....early half circle hinge mold seam base....crude applied double ring collar....aqua....6 1/4\"tall....Good condition with only one small shallow chip on top edge of lip; a paper thin shallow stress hairline on base edge (shown in last picture)....A dug bottle with normal haze. Flask would tumble clean nice.
