This item is a wonderful,original letter dated 1864, Springfield, Massachusetts, where Mrs. Lenora Thompson has written Lt. (Frederick Arthur Clark ) Judd of the 34th Massachusetts Infantry, regarding the details in the death of her brother Captain (George) Thompson. She requests information about where he fell, did he say any last words, did anyone cut a lock of hair.....signed Mrs. Lenora Hosmer. Letter is 6x9, double sided, overall good condition.
