AMAZING 148-year-old Baptismal certificate for LOUISA ZEIG, daughter of PETER ZEIG (27 Apr 1832-31 May 1910) and Catharina Neidhart (1830-8 Dec 1911) on May 6, 1866 at the German church in Green Camp, Marion County, Ohio. Measures 12\"x16\". Very chinsy frame which is falling apart, just a few minor tears around the edges. Does not seem very brittle at all. Beautiful script writing. What an amazing piece for a great-great-great-grandchild to own!! Purchased 9/1/2014 at the estate sale of her grandson John Haberman (b. 30 Apr 1925) who had no children and whose sister Ava (Haberman) Portman and her children did not want. (VERY SAD). He was the son of Ruth Naomi Bricker who was the daughter of Louisa Zeig.
